Alhamdulillah akhirnya Kota Pontianak dilirik oleh penggiat tahunan Pesta Blogger Indonesia. Seperti kita ketahui setiap tahun Pesta Blogger mengadakan blogshop (Blogging Workshop) ke beberapa kota di Indonesia. Pesta Blogger selalu berkolaborasi bersama komunitas lokal/regional untuk mengetengahkan suatu program yang dipersembahkan bagi masyarakat kota tujuan.
Tahun ini, blogshop Pesta Blogger 2010 mampir ke Kota Pontianak, bekerja sama dengan teman-teman komunitas blogger di Pontianak.
Blogshop kali ini mengangkat tema "Pengenalan Blogging dan Sosial Media bagi Pendidikan". Pendidikan yang dimaksud tidak hanya pendidikan formal tetapi juga pendidikan informal.

Blogshop ini terbuka bagi siapa pun yang berkecimpung atau bersentuhan dengan dunia pendidikan anak, bisa dari guru sekolah, pendamping jalanan atau pengelola rumah baca dan lainnya.
